COURT-REFERRED MEDIATION

DISTRICT COURT
Landlord / tenant, small claims, peace orders, and other District Court matters can go to mediation at a convenient time and neutral place to come up with a plan to take to Court saving time and with a greater likelihood of success.  A 2015 Maryland District Court study shows that 79% of people who come to agreement through mediation comply with their agreement while 46% of people return to Court for enforcement if the Court rendered the decision, even if the decision would have been the same.

CIRCUIT COURT FAMILY MEDIATION
Mediators help to keep the children in the center of the conversation around their care while your family is changing.

STATE'S ATTORNEY REFERRALS
If you’ve been charged with a misdemeanor through the State’s Attorney’s Office, ask if you can be referred to mediation.  At the recommendation of the State’s Attorney’s Office, CMUS mediates cases of minor assault, harassment, MDOP, theft, etc. between family members, neighbors, friends, and other’s with relationships.
