I feel the value of my efforts mediating & in outreach

I went to Basic Mediation Training at Chesapeake College in September 2017.  It was 6 full days over 3 weekends of intense, intriguing, and informative hands-on interactive training.  I left the training feeling connected to my classmates and looking forward to mediating with them.  I started observing mediations then mediating after completing my training.  After several mediations, I experienced how mediation helps our community, and now I also volunteer at community and networking events as well as social media and with website maintenance on behalf of CMUS.  I recently attended the Parenting Plan Mediation Training in Edgewood and Legislative Day at the Capitol.  It feels great to enrich my knowledge and see how mediation makes a difference in so many lives!
